BirelART
Founded in Lissone in 1959, Birel has played a major role in the history of karting, combining Italian manufacturing expertise with continuous technical innovation. In 2014, Birel Group and ART Grand Prix joined forces to create Birel ART, strengthening the brand's international racing and commercial activities. Today, Birel ART designs and manufactures racing and rental karts at its Italian facility, where the technical office, production departments and racing team work closely together. Its chassis have carried generations of drivers, including many who later reached Formula 1.

Birelart travelled to Denmark this weekend for the fourth of five rounds of the Champions of the Future Euro Series, held at the Rødby circuit, which appeared on the international calendar for the first time in 2023. From Thursday's Qualifying sessions to Saturday's Finals, the team had to fight relentlessly, but failed to secure a podium finish in OK despite some impressive performances.

Birelart KZ driver Pedro Hiltbrand came very close to winning the FIA Karting European Championship at the third and final round in Mülsen, Germany, before an engine problem ended his hopes. In KZ2, young Noah Wolfe (VAR by Birelart) showed great determination, finishing just off the podium.

The first round of the European KZ Championship in Valencia was a success for Birelart Racing. Pedro Hiltbrand showed total mastery, winning the KZ Final by more than 3.2 seconds, confirming the effectiveness of the development work carried out by Birelart in the run-up to the season. Cristian Bertuca backed up this success by taking 3rd place on the podium and setting the fastest lap of the race. In KZ2, almost a third of the field chose the Birelart chassis, with four drivers in the top 10, including Corentin Rousseau, who finished 6th, among other outstanding results.
