Mattia Bucci returns to Imola seeking redemption as the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship resumes at the Santerno track

Following the end of the summer break, Mattia Bucci is ready to rumble in the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship.
The upcoming round will take place at the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola.
The talented young driver from Pescara will defend the colors of Scuderia Best Lap alongside Andrea Levy and Ivan David Mari, once again driving the team's Ferrari 296 Challenge.
  
Bucci heads into the Santerno weekend with two second place finishes this season. The potential he showed in the Monza round provides a good foundation to build upon for this endurance race on the Romagna track. Imola holds fond memories for him: it was the scene of his first podium in the world of GT racing, a third place finish he achieved in 2024 in the Italian Gran Turismo Sprint Championship with Filippo Croccolino.
  
The Imola circuit is one of the most distinctive in the entire motorsport landscape. At 4.909 kilometers long with nineteen corners, nine right and ten left, the track features a number of ups and downs which, combined with its winding layout, represents a true challenge for drivers in every category.
  
The weekend schedule is as follows:
- Friday: Free Practice 1, 12:10 / Free Practice 2, 16:50;
- Saturday: Free Practice 3, 9:00 / Qualifying 1, 13:40 / Qualifying 2, 14:20 / Qualifying 3, 15:00;
- Sunday: Race,14:50 (3 hours).
  
Mattia Bucci: “Finally, I'm back in the car. I'm very excited and can't wait to get on the track. We're back in Imola, I finished with a third place there last year. I'm really looking forward to driving on that circuit again because it means a lot to me; it's always a special feeling. I hope to end on a high note like last year.
